主要科研領(lǐng)域與方向: 功能基因組與蛋白質(zhì)組學。
科學成就：
參加完成了家蠶全基因組框架圖譜和精細圖的繪制工作，建立了家蠶蛋白質(zhì)組學研究平臺,為實驗室家蠶蛋白質(zhì)組學研究的學術(shù)帶頭人。主要以家蠶作為鱗翅目昆蟲的模式生物，利用分子生物學和蛋白質(zhì)組學研究技術(shù)對昆蟲重要的功能蛋白進行研究。基于家蠶全基因組序列，重點對絲腺重要特異功能基因、家蠶30K蛋白和絲氨酸蛋白酶及抑制劑進行了系統(tǒng)分析和功能研究；建立了一套適合于家蠶功能基因組研究的雙向電泳和質(zhì)譜分析的技術(shù)體系，培養(yǎng)了一批從事蛋白質(zhì)組學研究的技術(shù)人材，建立了家蠶各組織器官的蛋白質(zhì)圖譜數(shù)據(jù)庫；通過對家蠶不同發(fā)育時期及不同組織器官的比較蛋白質(zhì)組學研究，發(fā)現(xiàn)了一批與絲蛋白合成、家蠶變態(tài)發(fā)育和免疫防御相關(guān)的重點蛋白，其功能的研究為高性能新型蠶絲纖維的研發(fā)和抗病育種的培育奠定了基礎(chǔ)。同時主持863項目子課題、國家自然科學基金、省部級課題6項，主研“973”、“863”、國家自然科學基金和省市級重點項目10余項。獲重慶市自然科學獎一等獎1項。近年來在SCIENCE，PLoS ONE,，BMC Genomics，Proteome Science，The Protein Journa等重要學術(shù)刊物上發(fā)表研究論文40余篇。
