一、個人簡介

薛留根，男，1995年破格晉升為教授，2001年被批準為博士生導師，現任概率統計學科部主任。主要社會兼職有：中國數學會概率統計學會常務理事，中國現場統計研究會理事，中國現場統計研究會生存分析分會副理事長，環境與資源分會常務理事，國際一般系統論研究會中國概率統計學會常務理事等。主持完成和在研的國家和省部級科研項目10多項，其中連續3次獲國家自然科學基金面上項目的資助。出版著作6部，其中一部專著獲全國統計科學研究優秀成果（專著類）一等獎。在國內外學術期刊上發表論文160余篇，其中5篇論文發表在統計類國際頂級期刊《Journal of the American Statistical Association》、《Journal of the Royal Statistical Society，Series B》、《The Annals of Statistics》、《Biometrika》上，2篇論文屬高被引論文。獲省部級科技一等獎和二等獎3項。曾先后10多次赴香港大學、香港理工大學、香港浸會大學和新加坡南洋理工大學訪問。多次參加國際學術會議并在大會上作學術報告。1999年入選北京市優秀人才工程。已招收研究生51人，其中博士研究生16人，碩士研究生35人；有9人獲博士學位，28人獲碩士學位。指導的研究生中1人獲全國優秀博士學位論文提名獎，1人獲北京市優秀博士學位論文，1人獲全國統計科學研究優秀成果博士學位論文二等獎，5人獲校優秀博士和碩士學位論文。培養的研究生中11人晉升為高級職稱，其中包括5名教授。

二、研究方向

非參數統計與數據分析。研究內容涉及：半參數模型及其在計量經濟學中的應用；生存分析及其在生物醫學中的應用；大范圍數據分析及其在金融工程中的應用；經驗似然等。
