圖書簡介

　　本書屬上海外國語大學學科辦教材編寫項目。國內成人英語學歷教育發展至今鮮有成套的有針對性的系列教程，本教程的出版可以說是開創了先例，有著積極的重大意義。本套教程有以下的特點：第一，不同于普通高校英語專業教材，在教材設計、內容選擇、語言描述等方面充分考慮了在職成人外語學生的特點；第二，使用者為已經具有英語專業專科的基礎，旨在獲得本科學歷和學位的成人學生，但同時也兼顧具有相應英語水平的非英語專業的成人學生；第三，在選擇課文和教學內容上，旨在兼顧趣味性、知識性和語言難度的結合；第四，參加編寫人員都是從事十年以上成人英語教學和研究的專職教授、副教授，他們的豐富學識和教學經歷可以確保本系列教程的質量及其科學性。
