《博士生入學考試英語模擬試題集》經(jīng)過一年的試用，外語教研室廣泛征求了考生、在校研究生、部分院校研究生教師的意見，對該模擬試題集作了較大修改，最終形成了即將出版的模擬試題集。該模擬試題集不僅能為備考北京林業(yè)大學博士研究生的廣大考生提供復習的依據(jù)，也同樣適用于計劃報考其他院校博士生的考生和準備參加北京市碩士研究生學位考試的在校研究生。
本套模擬試題集的最大特點是注重考察考生的語言交際技能，尤其是語言輸出技能。試題集保留了聽力測試的內(nèi)容，其中有一定比例的講座。還增加了翻譯和寫作的難度，意在鼓勵考生在今后學術(shù)發(fā)展中注重培養(yǎng)英語實際應用能力。全部的模擬考題均采用真實語料，由外語教研室的老師集體討論、修改、編寫而成，部分題目或答案由外教審核，聽力磁帶由教研室的青年教師和外教共同錄制。
