有錢無閑 Time poverty

好多年前有一首“神曲”，唱的是“我想去桂林，可是我沒錢，等我有錢的時候，我卻沒時間”。

現代社會，每個人都很忙，精英人士收入高，但是工作強度和壓力也大，少有時間休閑。低收入群體呢，因為工資太低，所以不得不經常加班來賺取必需的生活費用，因此，也沒有時間休閑。

于是，大部分人好像都處于一種“沒時間”(time poverty)的狀態。

Time poverty is used to describe groups of people who, while having a high disposable income through well-paid employment, have relatively little leisure time, also known as "money-rich, time-poor".

Time poverty這個表達用來形容那些從事著高薪職業、收入可觀，但是沒什么休閑時間的人，英文中還可以用money-rich, time-poor來表示，即“有錢無閑”。

The term can also be used to describe people who work long hours of under-paid job to make a living and don't have any leisure time left for themselves as a result.

這個表達還可以用來形容那些從事低收入職業，需要長時間工作賺取生活費用，因而沒有時間休閑的人，即“無錢也無閑”。

比如：

Someone thinks of time poverty as a necessary condition of employment, while others are trying to deal with the problem through downshifting or flexible work arrangements.

有人覺得“時間緊張”是工作的一個必然狀態，有的人則想辦法通過放慢工作節奏或者靈活的工作時間安排來解決這個問題。

至于那些說自己沒什么錢，但是有大把時間的人，咱們就可以舉一反三，用time-rich來形容了。

比如：

I am broke, I cannot even afford a nice cup of coffee. But I am definitely time-rich, you can call me at any time of the day, and I'll be there.

我身無分文，連杯像樣的咖啡都買不起。但是我有大把的時間，你可以隨時給我打電話，我隨叫隨到。
