陳一平，男，安徽懷寧人，理學博士，研究員，博士生導師。1987年在中國科學院等離子體物理研究所獲等離子體物理與受控聚變工程專業碩士學位，后在該所獲等離子體物理專業博士學位。2000.11和2002.8分別在德國于利希研究中心等離子體物理研究所和加拿大Alberta大學從事合作研究。2003-2004德國馬普協會等離子體物理研究所訪問學者。
長期從事等離子體物理研究工作，所從事的主要專業方向為理論與計算等離子體物理，計算機數值模擬。曾參與國家863計劃項目和EAST國家大科學工程項目研究，主持或參與國家自然科學基金項目研究。國內外有廣泛的學術交流和合作。目前的主要研究包括，等離子體平衡、芯部和邊緣等離子體輸運、偏濾器物理、等離子體中原子分子過程、等離子體與材料相互作用的理論和計算機數值模擬研究以及托卡馬克等離子體實驗的模擬研究，發展和利用大型數值模擬程序開展相關研究領域的計算機數值模擬研究。
可招收物理或理論物理、等離子體物理專業研究方向為等離子體物理理論與計算機數值模擬、邊緣等離子體物理或偏濾器物理的碩士和博士研究生。
YiPingChen,male,bornathuaininginAnhuiprovince,Ph.D,Professorofplasmaphysics,Doctoralsupervisor.HeobtainedhisM.S.ofthespecializedsubjectofplasmaphysicsandcontrolledfusionengineeringin1987atInstituteofPlasmaPhysics,ChineseAcademyofSciences.LaterheobtainedhisPh.Dofthespecializedsubjectofplasmaphysicsattheinstitute.InNovember,2000andinAugust,2002,hevisitedrespectivelyatInstitutfuerEnergie-undKlimaforschung–Plasmaphysik,Jülich,GermanyandUniversityofAlberta,Canadaforcooperativeresearch.From2003to2004,hevisitedattheMaxPlanckInstituteforPlasmaPhysicsatGarching,Germany.
Hehasbeenstudyingplasmaphysicsformanyyears,themajorspecializedsubjectistheoreticalandcomputationalplasmaphysics,computersimulation.HetookpartintheresearchontheprojectoftheNation863PlanandtheresearchonEASTtokamakproject,thenationalgreatscienceproject.HewasresponsiblefororinvolvedintheprojectssupportedbyNationNatureScienceFoundationofChina.Hehaswideacademicexchangesandcollaborationswiththescientistsathomeandabroad.Thecurrentmajorresearchareaincludestheoreticalresearchandcomputersimulationoftheplasmaequilibrium,thetransportincoreandedgeplasmas,divertorphysics,theatomicandmolecularprocessesinplasma,theinteractionbetweenplasmaandmaterials,andthecomputersimulationofplasmasinexperiments.Hecarriedonhisresearchbydevelopingandusingsimulationcodesandthecomputersimulations.
HewouldliketoenrolltheM.S.andPh.Dstudentsinthespecializedsubjectofphysicsortheoreticalphysics,plasmaphysicswiththeresearchareaoftheoreticalandcomputationalplasmaphysics,computersimulation,edgeplasmaphysicsordivertorphysics.
