2007年獲中南大學生物化工博士學位。2007年7月進入中南大學公共衛生學院工作，主講衛生化學和儀器分析兩名課程，主要從事生物醫藥功能材料和藥物分析研究。參加了國家高技術863項目（No. 2001AA2180011），國家自然科學基金項目（No. 20376085、No. 20576142、No. 21175155），高等學校博士學科點專項科研基金（No. 20090162120013）以及湖南省杰出青年科學基金項目（No. 06JJ10003）等多項課題的研究。主持湖南省教改課題和湖南省科技計劃各一項，近幾年來，在國內外知名刊物發表科研論文20多篇，2008年申請國家發明專利1項。
