考研英語翻譯真題演練(2007考研英語真題為例)

在研究考研英語閱讀的同時，我們需要花些時間掌握翻譯的技巧以及通過不斷練習減少失分點。復習不應只看英文以及對應的中文，因為只看會感覺我也會，但是一旦自己動手翻會發現問題百出，因此今天老師帶領大家就一篇學生的翻譯進行講解，看看自己是不是有類似通病。

(46) Traditionally, legal learning has been viewed in such institutions as the special preserve of lawyers, rather than a necessary part of the intellectual equipment of an educated person.就傳統而言，法律知識在一些學校中已經被看作是律師們的特殊領域，而不是一個受過良好教育的人知識儲備中所必需具備的一部分。批注：該句中有as，可以與其搭配的view...as和such as，根據句義來看，是與view搭配的，把...視為...，該學生的理解是對的，問題是沒有把such翻譯出來，指代的是上述的一些學校不能僅僅翻譯為一些。special preserve是固定搭配，專門工作或者特殊權利。這里取專門工作的意思。

(47)On the other, it links these concepts to everyday realities in a manner which is parallel to the links journalists forge on a daily basis as they cover and comment on the news.另一方面，法律以某種方式將這些概念與每天的現實聯系起來，這種方式與記者每天報道新聞和評論新聞的方式相類似。批注：該句翻譯得很好，沒有問題。

(48) But the idea that the journalist must understand the law more profoundly than an ordinary citizen rests on an understanding of the established conventions and special responsibilities of the news media.然而觀點認為比起普通人，記者必須對法律有更深遠的理解，這取決于他們對于已經完善的條例的理解以及對于新聞媒體的特殊責任。批注：rest on是基于而不是取決于的意思。注意形容詞的翻譯要盡量準確，establish是建立的意思，形容詞是建立好的，翻譯為既有的，而沒有完善的意思。從整個句式來看，可以這樣來譯：新聞記者比普通人....,這一觀點基于....。

(49) In fact, it is difficult to see how journalists who do not have a clear grasp of the basic features of the Canadian Constitution can do a competent job on political stories.事實上，那些對于加拿大憲法的基本特征沒有清晰把握的記者們是很難勝任政治報道這項工作的。Difficult不是來修飾記者們的，而是很難去想象....。

(50) While comment and reaction from lawyers may enhance stories, it is preferable for journalists to rely on their own notions of significance and make their own judgments.然而，來自律師們的評論和反應也許可以增強故事情節，但是對于記者們而言，他們更偏愛依靠他們自己對于重大事件的理解并作出自己的判斷。While盡管、雖然;stories是新聞的意思，而非故事。

考研英語翻譯題型是需要動手的題型，不能光靠眼睛看。翻譯后需要和答案進行比對，過程中要總結出自己是語法方面的問題、是詞匯不足還是對于漢語的習慣表達缺乏思考。多動手、多總結，祝大家在2016考研英語翻譯上能夠取得好成績。
